Show Time in the Theater District |
When you get ready to purchase theater tickets (discount or full price), stop by the new Broadway Concierge and Ticket Center that opened in Times Square last year. Theater- goers can purchase tickets to just about every Broadway and many off-Broadway shows at one central location. Information is provided in six languages and visitors can also get assistance with restaurant recommendations, car services or pick up neighborhood maps.
While in Times Square, try the newly opened Montenapo in The New York Times building at 250 West 41st Street. Overlooking the majestic Birch and Moss Garden designed by Renzo Piano, Montenapo offers some of the best gourmet Italian cuisine in the city made from only the finest organic ingredients.

Rock On Downtown! |
The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex in SOHO features memorabilia from stars such as Bruce Springsteen, Madonna, The Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan and more. On May 12th, a new exhibit, JOHN LENNON THE NEW YORK CITY YEARS opened for a limited engagement. This exhibit was created by Yoko Ono and serves as a tribute to Lennon and the years he lived in New York City, his work both in and out of the music scene and the undeniable influences of the city. The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Annex is located at 76 Mercer Street.

What's New is 400 Years Old! |
History buffs will relish the year long celebration of the 400th anniversary of Henry Hudson’s trip to what is now New York City. Festivities, some in conjunction with Hudson’s native Netherlands, began in March and continue through the end of the year. Visitors can immerse themselves in this era by visiting the Dutch master exhibits at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and The Frick Collection. The Museum of the City of New York will host Amsterdam / New Amsterdam: The Worlds of Henry Hudson, through September 27th, which explores the Dutch influences on the city some of which remains today. And, from June 5th – June 13th, visitors can witness the spectacle of the Inaugural River Day, a celebration of New York's 400 years of history along the Hudson River.
