Warmer weather will be here soon (really!) and many traveler’s thoughts turn to planning a golf vacation. Or, for some, a family vacation where they can sneak in some golf at a nice resort. Either way, below are some favorite courses and resorts across the country – all the way from Atlantic City to Hawaii!

Seaview Golf ResortNortheast - Atlantic City

Seaview Golf Resort
Seaview Resort & Spa - A Marriott Resort

Located approximately 10 miles outside of Atlantic City the Seaview Golf Resort was originally founded in 1914 as the Seaview Country Club and now offers visitors two award-winning golf courses. The Seaview Championship Golf Package starts at just $219/night and includes overnight accommodations, two rounds of golf for up to two people, breakfast and more. In addition to golf (and the nearby fun of Atlantic City), an Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa is also located on-site. For promotional code and booking instructions click here.

Kiawah Golf ResortSoutheast

Kiawah Island Golf Resort

Located about 30 miles from Charlestown, SC, Kiawah Island is a golfer’s paradise with five golf courses all easily accessible to guests. The resort and courses have won a variety of accolades but Kiawah Island is most famous for the Ocean Course - the host of the 2012 PGA Championships.  The resort has plenty of activities to keep the entire family occupied including stellar tennis facilities and beaches. Guests have a variety of lodging options to choose from – from private homes, condominiums or rooms at the exquisite Sanctuary Hotel – a top ranked luxury beach hotel.

NCL LogoAs Official Cruise Line of the PGA TOUR and Champions Tour, we give you golf like no one else. After playing 18 holes in paradise, it’s tough finding accommodations to match. Unless, of course, you’re on Norwegian Cruise Line. Relax and enjoy your golf getaway to premier courses like Wailea in Hawai‘i and Port Royal in Bermuda. In fact, there’s a new course and new experience waiting in every port. Whether it’s hitting a bucket of balls at sunrise or playing till you can’t swing anymore. When it’s Freestyle Cruising®, only on NCL, you’re free to whatever.

Ritz-Carlton SpanWestern US - Tucson, Arizona

Ritz-Carlton Golf Club
Ritz-Carlton Dove Mountain

Newly opened in January, the latest creation of Jack Nicklaus is located in a luxury desert setting and for a limited time in 2009 play is open on a preview basis on all three nines. Eventually the courses will only be accessible to resident members and guests at The Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain. Reservations can be made by calling: 520-572-3500.  Upon completion in late 2009, the Ritz-Carlton, Dove Mountain will boast a true southwestern experience with unlimited recreational activities and culinary experiences.

The Plantation CourseWest Coast - Maui, Hawaii

The Plantation Course

If you are planning a trip to Hawaii or need an excuse to go there you will find your own slice of paradise in Kapalua - translated from Hawaiian as "arms embracing the sea," which aptly describes the resort’s dramatic lava peninsula coastline. Located on the northwest shore of Maui, 32 miles from the Maui airport - the 23,000 acre resort is set among Maui’s only working pineapple plantation.  This resort is home to the Plantation Course – played by greats such as Tiger Woods, Vijay Singh and many more. But beware; you may be easily distracted by the scenic views of oceans, islands and pineapple plantations. Stay at the Ritz-Carlton, Kapalua, a luxury villa, or a condominium.
